Another purchase from this shop, this time a bedside light for myself - and it surpassed my expectations with it’s beautiful diffuse light. Just love the warm tones.

Lamp number two arrived from Moton Studio today, exactly the last bit of lighting I needed to complete the studio vibe. Boxed-up with consideration, a very cool business card and lots of foam wotsits for me to count individually, later. The lamp is beyond beautiful. A uniquely designed functional piece, with a clever nod to the Art Deco era, that stands out as a sculpture in it’s own right. Molly and Malcolm covered my every query, and even managed to find me the colours of glass I was looking for. When lit, the warm colours bounce off several objects in the room, creating a whole new feel. Can’t stop looking at it. Ta Moton.

I was delighted with my lamp. It is a beautifully crafted piece of art and has been a lovely addition to our home, bringing light, colour and beauty into our living space. Speedy delivery and well packaged. Just love it. Would highly recommend it if you are looking for something special, beautiful and unique.

This was a present to myself using some Christmas money I’d been gifted. The beautiful lamp brings light, colour and a wonderful feeling of warmth and healing into my home. It seems as if it was always meant to be there in my living room next to some of my favourite things. I have ordered two more to give to two of my favourite people. Such special pieces of art to own or gift.

I couldn’t keep them until Christmas I wanted to see my friends faces when they first saw them, all apart from one that is. One sadly didn’t make it to it’s intended destination as my husband and I both fell in love with it the moment we saw so neither of us could bear to part with it.

If you are looking for something exquisite and unique which is both functional and a piece of art, I highly recommend Moton Studio.

It is quite difficult sometimes to talk to a producer/artist about the atmosphere and context of the piece you’d like them to make, rather than describing exactly what you want in terms of colour and design, but that was not the case here.

I told Molly & Malcolm about the people the lamps were intended for, described the tones and hues of their homes and where the lamps would sit and from this information they created 3 stunning lamps, all unique and spot on to the brief.

I love this lamp! Beautiful and so well made. I love the flex and the clear plug. Beautifully wrapped and a pure joyous ode to light.
